  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 cup canned tomato puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet; cook until browned on all sides (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat.
  4. Pour in the tomato puree and heavy cream; stir in cumin, coriander, garam masala, sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet; simmer for an additional 5 minutes to meld flavors.
