Baked Ham and Cheese Croissants are a delightful fusion of flaky pastry, savory ham, and gooey melted cheese that promise to elevate any meal. Perfect for brunch or as a cozy snack, these croissants fill your kitchen with an irresistible aroma and deliver layers of flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package pre-made croissant dough (8 oz)
  • 8 slices deli ham
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the croissant dough on a lightly floured surface until flat.
  3. Place one slice of ham on each triangle of dough. If using mustard, spread it lightly over the ham before adding a generous amount of cheese.
  4. Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle tightly towards the point.
  5. In a small bowl, beat the egg with water and brush the mixture over each rolled croissant for a shiny finish.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed up. Serve warm.
