Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced ham for 3-4 minutes until slightly browned. Add the spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the sautéed ham and spinach with beaten eggs and shredded cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into squares or rectangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each pastry piece, fold over edges to seal, and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Brush each roll with an egg wash for a golden finish and bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
